Sounds like an Apple Virtualization bug, I'm afraid there's nothing we can do about it other than submit feedback to Apple. |

Fully agree, this seems to be an Apple issue. I tried VB, UTM and Viable - all the same. + Early versions of Ventura seems to have the same problem as well. |

After further testing macOS 13.4 is the oldest version I can virtualize on my M4 Max. |

Hi,
I can't install a new Monterey VM from an IPSW image with VB on M4 Max, or if I try to run an old one it doesn't start. Seems like UTM has the same issue:
