Page 34 of Appendix 3: IBL Protocol for setting up the behavioral training rig describes the wiring for the sound module and camera (Chameleon 3) GPIO:

It says to connect the "wires end" of a BNC-to-wires cable to the sound module output, and then connect the BNC end to a BNC splitter. One side of the BNC splitter is connected to BPOD TTL I/O In2, while the other end of the splitter is connected to another BNC-to-wires cable, and the wires end connects to the GPIO3 (green) and GND (black) wires of the camera input/output connecter cable.

However, the updated IBL Rig instructions says to replace the sound card with the sanworks HiFi module. As part of this hardware change, the BNC-to-wires cable connecting the the sound module output is disconnected. Instead, the sound board/module connects the the HiFi module via a 3.5mm audio jack, and the BNC port of the HiFi module is connected to BPOD TTL I/O In2 via a BNC cable.

What remains somewhat unclear to me is where the BNC splitter that connects to the camera GPIO should go. My best understanding is that I should connect the splitter to the BNC port of the HiFI module (the TTL Sync port), and then one side of the splitter should go to BPOD TTL I/O In2, and the other end goes to the camera GPIO. However, clarification would be greatly appreciated, as this is my first time setting up one of these rigs.
