Is they anyway to display the songs cover icon on the discord rpc?

so instead of this

it will display this

as the icon?

This is being discussed a lot in #341, right now the problem is you would either need your server to be public (so discord can load the art, which on navidrome is a security risk), or Feishin would have to upload art to a service like Imgur.

The bottom line is no, Feishin doesn't support that right now (unless you're using Jellyfin and it's public, in which case you can follow #341 (comment)).

I attempted to do the the jellyfin way #341 comment suggested but that didnt seem to work the server is open publicly

I can't help you much there since I don't use Jellyfin.
If you would like though (and you don't use MacOS), you could try running a version of my fork which has a free image proxy hosted by me built into it (Settings -> Tweaks -> Image proxy type -> Pizza).
