Describe the bug

I run Jellyfin Media Player on a NUC box connected to a TV, without keyboard or mouse attached (I control it using mobile/desktop apps on other devices). However, once the screensaver turns on, if I use another device to start media playing, it does not turn off, and I cannot see the media, even though I can hear the audio.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Settings -> Display, and enable the built-in screensaver
  2. Wait for the screensaver to turn on
  3. Use another device to start something playing
  4. See that the screensaver remains on, obscuring the video

Expected behavior

Whenever I start video playback, if the screensaver is active, it should be deactivated.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Debian Linux (bookworm)
  • Version: 1.11.1
  • Installation Method: Debian package downloaded from Github releases page

Additional context

I run JMP in full-screen mode on a TV, with no connected input devices.
