Seems like it. Wayland support has been broken for some time and the provided copy of MPV is outdated and has bugs

I like this project, too bad it got abandoned and it's too annoying to use it with all the issues.

Doing maintenance on these projects is on my to-do list but it keeps getting pushed back due to a myriad of personal issues.

Thanks for the update, then maybe there's hope after all! Couldn't find a better alternative yet, so even with the issues it's great to have this project.
