[Bug]: Lcov not getting updated

Steps to reproduce

In Jest 26, we used a custom reporter that threw an error when the new code coverage was lower than the current coverage. After upgrading to Jest 29, the reports are no longer getting updated if an error occurs.

Expected behavior

It should update the report

Actual behavior

LCOV report not getting updated
