Remove Devices ?

Hi,
I started using the integration for a new AC unit.
However the integration also added my existing unit, which has local control.

Any idea how I can remove 1 device from the integration ? I cannot seem to find it....

There is no support to delete a device, everything Daikin reports is available to HA. When you don't want to see a device in HA try to disable the device, at that moment you just don't see it

Hmm, can't you disable the device in just one integration? If that doesn't work, maybe disable just the entities you don't want? I thought each integration had its own scope, but I don't know all the HA details

On entity level I can indeed disable the entities for my "local" unit within the Onecta integration.
I'm not sure however if that then would also stop collecting/communicating data from my "local" unit over the API ?

The daikin_onecta integration gets all data for all devices in one call, so the data is collected and will be handled internally, not sure what HA exactly disables when you disable a entity

Maybe something to consider for a next update ? (sorry, I'm not a coder so not sure if I'm asking impossible things ;-) )

Changing the internal IDs will break all existing installations, not something I prefer to do. Another option is to remove the device you control locally from the daikin onecta app itself, at that moment we also don't see it in HA
