I have set limit-rps annotation to restrict number of connections from particular IP at ingress. I am student and stuck in problem where I want to understand.

  1. Which header does limit-rps use to identify particular IP from client.
  2. If limit-rps is using X-Forwarded-For header then what should I do if my Client IP is getting captured in custom header like Client-External-IP.
  3. How to make limit-rps work with this custom header Client-External-IP to know the IP.
