Multiple Selections?

What's the best way to copy lots of of non-consecutive files from one directory to another? Append each to the same register? Using visual mode helps if the files are consecutive, but is there a way to easily toggle the selection of individual files?

Currently, there is no way to toggle selection. You can yank and put items, or delete unnecessary ones. It is also possible to add items to the same register. While I'm open to the idea of allowing toggling, how to implement this is another matter. Should we 'unselect' an individual file, or consider the kind of 'mark mode' suggested by #265 ?
