Suggestion: Switchable automatic Side or rear loading #247
Comments
It is possible, but for a lot of vehicles it really doesn't make much sense. A good example is the KRONE - imagine the whole volume of the loaded pallets and trying to unload them to the rear. You either need a much bigger space to the rear than is sensible, or you have to rotate it by 90 degrees and then need a huge space in that direction instead. I think the only option to make it viable would be to re-calcualte the packing, and I have not done that yet (for 22 or 25). EDIT: Sorry, just re-read and I think you mean toggling the side/rear manual loading. In that case all you have to do is not use a forklift. I could do it more easily in single player. In multiplayer it gets really complicated to keep track of which players want manual loading and which don't. |
Sorry, it was my fault for reading and replying on my phone without paying full attention. Toggling these from in game is easy, but the hardest part is finding a new keybinding that is not already used! I could add them as unbound and then people can try to find a spare key for it if they want the option available to toggle from in game. |
Yeah unbind is fine by me if it's not too much work for you. |
I'm in the middle of adding a new feature now. I'll get that released first and then look at this one. |
No hurry, take your time 👍 |
Would you prefer this per vehicle, or as a global setting? |
I think a global setting would be perfect in my opinion. |
Hey Loki, is it possible to add a button for switching between automatic Side loading and rear loading on and off?
Maybe in the future this would be a nice addition in my opinion.
