Provide a Drop-down List of Previous Searches:

What is a viable number of previous searches to display in the drop-down list? Can the drop-down list be configured to clear entries on a FIFO (first-in, first-out) basis, so that the most recent searches are added as the older ones are removed?

@touwys yes, all that is perfectly doable and I am sure I will implement this sometime in the future
