The option 'partial' is defined on line 35 as

partial: false, // specify that templates are partials

but on line 152, it is used as

// source is compiled at this point, let us reconstruct and decide wrappings

if (options.**partials**) {
wrapOpen = 'Handlebars.partials[\'' + filename + '\'] = template(';
