MacOS / Linux like screenshot feature #36822
Comments
Hi @Lee0z, does Snipping Tool fit your needs? You can use the Windows logo key + Shift + S to start a snip. |
Hey @nguyen-dows, I know Snipping tool already. It doesn't suit my needs. I would like to take screenshot of the same resolution every time. So the tool could "remember" last selected area, just like in MacOS or Linux systems. |
Hey @Lee0z, thanks for the clarification! |
Hi! We've identified this issue that best is suited for Windows Feedback Hub. To do this on Windows, WinKey+F will bring it up! |
Description of the new feature / enhancement
Provide MacOS-like screenshot utility that could take screenshot and save the place of screenshot for another one (like CMD+SHIFT+5)
Scenario when this would be used?
Power user is taking a lot of screenshots to document his job. The feature would help to remain professional and standarize the screenshot size.
