Hello. What version of Coe Core are you on, and what inventory type are you using? Sync flow v Data Export / BYODL

Hello, the problem is, customer reported this with Power Platform and product group investigated and confirmed the behavior is an expected and known issue from CoE side.

The list of environments is not getting disabled. Inactive Environments still shows as Active. While investigating the issue, PG identified that some flows within the environments are still alive and that is the reason the environments are still active.

Update from Product Group:

Customer stated the below:
Inventory flows from CoE keeping environments alive. We have two instances of CoE, one test and one production with about 50+ inventory flows in each instance, all using the List Environments action with the Power Platform Admin connector. So here customer confirmed that the flows cannot be deleted but still they want to be deleted the in-active developer environments. (Attached in the ticket)

oh I see. This is about managed environments. This is a long going conversation in the product team not something that I can assist with. Will mark as product issue and allow the PMs in the space to interact.

This was unexpected to see that our ticket ended up here. This is not about managed environments, from our side, but about our developer environment. They are kept alive through CoEs inventory flows.
We had the same issues with Teams environments being kept alive, but that was solved by MS.

Sorry ME is not required but it is the issue I was referencing. The product team PMS and the CoE PM (Grant) are working together on this. There isn't anything I can do about it as its just product behavior to count all reads as "activity"

Hi there
@Jenefer-Monroe is it possible to get the CoE inventory flows to ignore Developer environment types? The CoE flows are triggering activity on our Developer environments and so the built-in clean-up process for developer plan environments is not triggering and our environment count is building up.

Hi there. Grant is actively working with the product team on a solution here, and will be your CoE POC going forward.

Ok thank you.
@Grant-Archibald-MS looking forward to hearing more about this issue. Our developer environments are building up for Makers who have left the company as activity keeps registering on them from the CoE.

@Grant-Archibald-MS Bump - wondering if you have an update regarding this. Thnx.

Hi @Jenefer-Monroe do you know if this feature is being worked on for a future release? Just trying to get an idea of when to expect it as we need to clean up our environments.
