Tutorial video for legacy version taken down

Late December 11th, YouTube took the first version's video down. Wiping out around 127k views, more than half of my total channel views (I went from ~201k to 74.8k views).
I did an appeal, and it was rejected within 12 hours after they "carefully reviewed" the content.

Am I upset that they removed it? A bit, but not that much. Why? Because that version was quite bad, but I do worry that the loss of that funnel of views to the latest version will have a negative impact on it.

What this means:
The tutorial video for the latest version (V2) is likely also going to be taken down, wiping out even more views, but more importantly, making my script less accessible.
