Blog post suggestion: Our way to becoming an association

This might be interesting to others?
How did it start, why did we want to become an association, how did we do it etc ?
Could be a collective effort (some older members could maybe tell a bit more about how it started, someone involved in setting up the association could tell about that, etc) ?

I don't know about the history before 2019, but I should be the one who knows the details about the association process. I will try to expand on it a bit.

But was there a reason beyond having an official presence? The other point I can think of is handling money for organizing events.
