I am requesting to kick off a PWL chapter here in Edinburgh. Rucha and I are currently completing our masters degree in AI at Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh. We have bonded over our interest our interest in research and have discussed how we believe starting a PWL chapter here would be a wonderful way to engage the high concentration of students and academics here in Edinburgh.
We both have experience in building communities, personally I have previously led similar communities such as Google developers group and IEEE Student branch in my home country.
We plan to host a monthly meetup starting from the end of this month.
I have read and accepted the code of conduct.
Thanks!

Once you accept the invitation as collaborators, please update the Readme and Code of Conduct with your chapter's information.
With abuse and harassment perpetually in the (North American) news, we hope every new chapter will embrace our mission to foster open and accepting communities -- so it is reassuring you accept our Code of Conduct.
If that does not work, please bear with us, we are exploring new tools (due to recent changes by both Heroku and Slack). This also partially explains the extra delay setting this up, apologies.
