Keyboard shortcuts to change the settings

It would be nice to be able open the menu using a shortcut, and jump to the different settings, for example to change the layout without using the mice.

Perhaps we could have a M-x like interface too, to type commands directly, e.g.: disable hydra, panel tabbed, change-username localmidi, change-colour pink, ...
