When trying new things, it might be helpful to enable a local only update, where a panel update would not be performed by remote client.

I meant to add more, but turns out, hitting ctrlaltenter submitted the issue :)

This feature is not something I would document/recommend, but when the jam is good, I feel less confident to try new things, and for some particular changes, like when adding a new synth or changing the polymeter steps, I think it would improve the experience of remote members if the initial adjustment could be previewed locally.

Or perhaps, this could just debounce the global update by a couple of seconds, to give a chance to adjust a value before everyone else gets to hear the change.
