I produced an EDL file from Shutter Encoder of a 23.976 video with non-drop frame time code.

However, I wonder if there are any provisions for SMPTE because the time codes might be for time-based media. See these files, and I can privately provide a video for testing.

  1. The time codes are a mixture of 01: and 00: for the hour.
  2. From 00:02:04:11, it jumps a frame forward.
  3. The final time code goes several frames ahead (00:03:16:00) instead of the frame (00:03:15:19) after the final one (00:03:15:18), which I think is the procedure?

Using Shutter Encoder 16.9 - Mac 10.11.6.

Elsewhere, I think video produced in Shutter Encoder is time-based, when it would be good to have the option of SMPTE.
