이 문서는 파이콘 한국 발표자로 기여해주시는 분들을 위한 발표 영상 촬영 안내입니다. 발표자께서는 다음 녹화 방법 중 한 가지를 선택하실 수 있습니다. (이하 파이콘 한국준비위원회를 파준위로 표기)

이후 편집일정을 위해 꼭 정해진 일정을 준수해주시기 바랍니다. 사전 연락없이 일정 미준수 시, 발표가 취소될 수 있습니다. (키노트, 스폰서 세션, 일반 세션 모두 해당) 촬영은 파이콘 한국의 피드백이 완료된 최종 발표자료를 사용하셔야합니다. 피드백을 받지 않은 자료 사용시, 파이콘 한국 세션으로 발표하실 수 없습니다. 재촬영이 요구되거나 파이콘 한국 진행 일정상 발표가 취소될 수 있습니다.

파이콘 한국 준비위원회는 발표 영상 품질 저하 시 발표자님께 재녹화를 요청드릴 수 있으므로, 스튜디오 또는 줌 녹화를 권장드립니다.

온라인 Zoom을 활용한 녹화

오프라인 촬영이 어려우신 분들을 위한 방법입니다.

• 개인 이어폰/마이크/웹캠/노트북 or 컴퓨터를 준비해주셔야 하며, 화상 회의 도구인 Zoom을 이용해 녹화를 진행합니다.
• 안내드리는 일정에 발표자와 파이콘 한국 준비위원회가 같이 가능하신 일정에 맞추어 녹화를 진행합니다. Zoom 미팅룸에는 파이콘 한국 준비위원회가 온라인으로 함께 참여하여 촬영에 도움을 드릴 수 있습니다.

미리 준비해주실 것

1. 영상 촬영 시, 파이콘 한국 공식 발표자 티셔츠를 입어주세요.

• 발표자 티셔츠를 입지 못하는 부득이한 경우, 새 하얀색/ 검은색 옷, 잔 줄무늬, 체크셔츠, 반짝거리는 쇠붙이 귀걸이 의상은 피해주세요. 영상에서 모습이 제대로 보이지 않을 수 있습니다.

2. 발표 시작 / 종료 사인 정하기

• 영상 시작과 끝 인지할 수 있는 액션 정하기
• 영상 시작 전,후 박수를 쳐서 발표의 시작과 끝을 확인합니다.
• 박수를 치는 것을 선택하지 않을 경우, 큰 소리를 낼 수 있는 도구 또는 음성파일을 준비해주세요. 기본적으로 음향을 통해 편집 시작점을 잡습니다.
  • 큰 소리가 불편하시거나 인지가 어려우실 경우 스태프에게 미리 알려주시면 다른 방법을 함께 찾아보도록 하겠습니다. (제안해주셔도 매우 감사합니다)
  • 박수 외에 다른 방법을 사용하실 경우 스태프에게 촬영 전 미리 알려주세요.

3. NG 사인 정하기

• NG가 날 경우, 팔로 크게 X 자 그려서 편집점을 잡게 됩니다.
• 기본 NG 사인 외에 다른 방법을 선택하실 경우, 스태프가 인지할 수 있는 NG 사인을 정하고 미리 알려주세요.
• NG 사인을 정하실 때는
  • NG는 촬영 중 여러 번 발생할 수 있으므로 빠르게 사용할 수 있는 편한 방법이면 좋습니다.
  • 작은 화면에서도 보이도록 크게 보이는 액션이면 좋습니다.
  • 예시. 빈 문서에 NG 라고 크게 적고 NG가 날 때마다 화면 전환 등

4. DEMO 준비

• 화면 녹화에서는 DEMO 영상과 음성이 제대로 녹화되지 않을 수 있어서 편집 시에 합성합니다. 미리 DEMO 영상을 [email protected] 에 [파이콘 한국 발표] 발표자명-메일로 보내주세요. 만약 zoom 촬영 전에 제출하지 않았다면 zoom 촬영에서 스태프가 안내해주는 제출 일정을 꼭 따라주세요. 미제출시 DEMO 없이 최종 영상이 만들어질 수 있으니 꼭 챙겨주세요 :)
• 데모 사인을 인지해주세요. 영상 촬영 시에는 ‘데모입니다’ 라고 이야기하고, DEMO 라고 크게 적힌 문서 파일로 화면을 전환해주세요.

발표하면서

발표 시작시

• 발표 시작 사인을 해주세요. (슬레이트 용도로 사용합니다).
• 이름, 발표 제목을 말씀하시고, 5초 정도 쉬었다가 발표 시작해주세요.

촬영 진행 중

화면 구도

• 가급적 발표자의 모습이 화면 가운데에 고정되어 있도록, 좌우로 크게 움직이지 말아주세요.
• 웹캠이 정면을 향하고 코~ 미간 사이로 높이 위치로 들어오면 좋습니다.
• 조명이 너무 어둡거나 역광이 아닌지 확인해주세요.
  • 줌 녹화본 특성상 색 보정이 어렵습니다. 적정 노출값에서 +-2stop 이 차이나지 않게 해주세요. (너무 어둡거나 밝지 않게 해달라는 뜻)

슬라이드 전환이 되었을 때,

• 슬라이드와 슬라이드 사이마다(=슬라이드를 넘길 때마다) 3초 정도 쉬어주세요. 편집점 잡기가 편합니다.

NG 가 날 경우

• NG 사인을 해주시고, 5초 정도 쉬고, NG가 난 슬라이드 처음부터 진행해주세요. NG가 난 문장부터 다시가 아닙니다!

DEMO 가 있을 경우

• DEMO 시연하는 부분에서 실제로 시연하지 않고, DEMO 사인을 해주시면 됩니다.
• 영상 촬영시 데모 영상, 음성이 있을 경우, 해당 부분에서 박수를 치고 빈 문서에 DEMO 라고 적고 화면 전환해주세요.
• 꼭 정해진 기한까지 DEMO 파일을 보내주세요.

공동 발표시

• 같은 공간에서 모여서 따로따로 접속해 촬영하는 것보다 각자 다른 공간에서 촬영하는게 낫습니다. 같은 공간에서 촬영할 경우 에코 하울링이 생길 수 있습니다.
• 발표자가 변경될 때마다 5초 멈추고, 발표자가 변경되었음을 종이에 써서 알려주세요. - 편집점을 잡기 위함입니다.

녹화 종료시

• 마지막 멘트가 끝나면 3초 정도 쉬고, 박수치고 “발표 종료” 라고 말씀해주시기 바랍니다.

발표자 개별 녹화 후 제출 방법

오프라인 스튜디오 촬영과 온라인 Zoom 녹화를 권장해드리나, 부득이한 사정으로 개별 녹화를 하셔야 하는 경우 다음과 같은 방법으로 진행을 부탁드립니다. 개별 녹화를 진행하실 경우 파준위가 촬영에 도움을 드리기는 어려운 점 양해 부탁드립니다.

• 녹화 영상의 퀄리티 확인을 위한 피드백 과정이 있습니다. 또한 영상의 품질이 좋지 않다면 재촬영을 요청할 수 있습니다.
• 제출하는 영상은 편집이 필요없는 최종 영상이어야 합니다.
• 발표자 화면, 발표 화면 영상 두 화면의 싱크를 맞추기 위해 양쪽 화면 모두에서 소리가 나야 합니다.
  • 한 화면에서만 음성이 녹음되지 않도록 주의해주세요.
  • 하나의 화면에서만 음성이 있을 경우, 발표자 화면, 발표 화면 두 영상 모두 정확히 동시시작-동시종료(0.01초의 오차 없이) 되어 있어야 작업이 가능합니다.

녹화를 위한 준비

1. 발표 자료 화면과 발표자의 모습을 녹화할 수 있는 프로그램 (종류 자유)
2. 개인 이어폰, 마이크, 웹캠, 컴퓨터 or 노트북
3. 소리 잡음을 막기 위해 카페를 제외한 조용한 장소
4. 영상 녹화 시 다음 의상은 피해주세요. 영상에서 모습이 제대로 보이지 않을 수 있습니다.

• 새 하얀색 / 검은색 옷, 잔 줄무늬 옷, 체크셔츠, 반짝거리는 쇠붙이 귀걸이

녹화 방법

• 최종 영상 포맷 : H264(MP4, mov) , Full HD (1920 * 1080, 30p)
• DEMO 를 포함하여 정해진 발표 시간을 지켜주세요. 발표 시간이 초과할 경우, 발표 시간을 맞추기 위해 1.2 배, 1.5배속 등으로 발표 속도를 조절하여 세션이 송출될 수 있습니다.

녹화 앞 부분에 꼭 들어가야할 것

• 녹화 버튼 누르고 박수를 쳐주세요 (슬레이트 용도로 사용합니다).
• 이름, 발표 제목을 말씀하시고, 5초 정도 쉬었다가 발표 시작해주세요.

샘플 영상 제출

• 녹화 영상의 퀄리티를 파준위가 사전에 확인할 수 있도록 30초 이내의 샘플 영상을 촬영하여 제출 부탁드립니다. 샘플 영상을 기준으로 피드백을 드리겠습니다.

최종 영상 제출 마감

• 최종 영상은 오른쪽과 같은 형태로 편집이 되어서 나갈 예정입니다.
• 그렇기 때문에 편집을 위해 발표자료만 나오는 영상 파일과 발표자의 모습이 나오는 영상 파일 두 가지를 보내주셔야 합니다.
• 발표자의 모습을 내보내고 싶지 않으시다면 대체 이미지를 주셔도 됩니다.

좋은 영상 품질을 위한 팁

1. 화면

• 웹캠이 정면을 향하고 코~미간 사이로 높이 위치로 들어오면 좋습니다.
• 조명이 너무 어둡거나 역광이 아닌지 확인해주세요. 적정 노출값에서 +-2stop 이 차이나지 않게 해주세요. (너무 어둡거나 밝지 않게 해달라는 뜻) 너무 어둡거나 밝으면, 영상 편집시 색보정이 어렵습니다.
• 화면 샘플

2. 음성

• 카페 등 외부 잡음이 있는 곳에서는 녹화하지 말아주세요.
• 주위에 음성인식 스피커 꺼주세요. 화면 녹화에 반응할 수 있습니다. 시리, 빅스비, 오케이 구글 등등
• 치찰음 (치지지지직 소리) 가 들릴 경우,
  • 편집으로 보정할 수 없는 소리입니다. 원인을 제거한 후 녹화해주세요.
  • 무선 마이크 등을 옷에 걸어놓고 마찰되면서 나는 소리일 경우가 많습니다. 마이크를 몸에서 떨어뜨려주세요.
• 팍 하고 튀는 소리가 들릴 경우,
  • 편집으로 보정할 수 없는 소리입니다. 원인을 제거한 후 녹화해주세요.
  • 목소리 크기를 일정하게 유지시켜 주세요.
  • 마이크에서 거리가 멀어지게 해주세요.
• 기기 소리
  • 마우스 클릭 소리가 크게 들릴 수 있습니다. 슬라이드를 넘길 때, 키보드 화살표, 무선 마우스, 트랙패드를 사용해주세요.
  • 기계식 키보드 사용을 지양해주세요. 소리가 매우 크게 녹화될 수 있습니다.

3. DEMO가 있을 경우

• DEMO 영상은 따로 녹화해서 편집에 포함됩니다. 개인 촬영을 선택하신 경우, DEMO 영상까지 포함되어 있는 최종 영상 형태로 보내주셔야 합니다.
• 오디오 재생을 하는 경우, 컴퓨터에 유무선 이어폰을 연결해서 틀어주세요.
• 음성, 영상 자료 재생이 있을 경우, 최종 녹화본에서 재생이 잘 되는지 다시 한 번 확인해주세요.

영상 촬영 Q&A

Q. 발표 영상에 얼굴이 꼭 나와야하나요?
A. 온라인에서도 생생한 현장감을 전달할 수 있도록 영상에 발표자분의 모습이 함께 나오는 것을 권장해드리오나, 얼굴 노출을 원하지 않으신다면 발표자 모습 영상 부분을 별도의 이미지로 대체하여 드릴 수 있습니다. 별도의 이미지는 영상을 보내주실 때 같이 보내주시면 됩니다. 만일 별도의 이미지가 없는 경우 파이콘 한국 로고로 대체됩니다.

Q. 발표 대본은 어디에 사용되나요?
A. 파이콘 한국에서는 청력에 관계없이 세션을 접할 수 있도록 영상에 자막을 넣고 있습니다. 영상 자막에 필수적인 것이 발표 대본입니다. 기술 용어는 발표 대본을 참고하여 자막을 만듭니다. 발표 대본은 최종 영상과 함께, Zoom 촬영하실 경우 촬영일에 대본을 보내주세요. 하지만 일정보다 늦는 경우에는 자막 및 후속 작업이 불가능합니다. 꼭 제출 날짜를 지켜주세요.

Q. 자막 작업을 직접 해야하나요?
A. 발표 시간에 맞게 녹화된 영상 파일을 보내주시면 이후 유튜브 송출을 위한 후속 작업은 파준위가 진행하므로 염려하지 않으셔도 됩니다. 발표 대본은 최종 영상과 함께 보내주세요. 꼭 제출 날짜를 지켜주세요.

Q. 녹화를 위한 장비를 지원해주나요?
A. ‘온라인 Zoom 녹화’ 방법과 ‘발표자 개별 녹화' 방법을 선택하신 경우 웹캠을 제외한 별도의 장비(마이크 등)를 지원해드리기 어려운 점 양해 부탁드립니다.

만일 개별 녹화가 어려우신 경우에는 Zoom 또는 스튜디오 녹화를 예약해주시기 바랍니다.

PyCon Korea Recording Guideline

This document is a session recording guideline for those who participate in PyCon Korea as speakers. The speaker can choose between these three methods.

Please meet the deadline. If the schedule is not met without prior contact, the presentation may be canceled. (Keynote, Sponsor Session, General Session All)

For the shooting, you should use the final presentation material that has been completed with the feedback from PyCon Korea. If you use the other material, you cannot present it as a Pycon Korea session. In this case, Re-shooting is required, or We may cancel the presentation due to the conference schedule.

• PKOT: PyCon Korea Organizing Team

If you want to record your presentation online with PyCon Korea Organizing Team, please reserve your spot via Google Form beforehand.

Without reservation, recording at a Zoom will not be available.

It is ‘first come, first served system, and do notify us beforehand if you are late or cannot make it.

PyCon Korea Organizing Team can ask you multiple recordings when the video’s quality is not met, so we recommend you to do it at a studio or via Zoom with us.

We will inform link to Google Form to reserve the video recording date.

Online Recording via Zoom

This is for those you cannot make it to the offline recording. You may need personal earphones/mic/web-camera/computer, and it will be on Zoom, a virtual conference call software. At the Zoom meeting room, PyCon Korea Organizing Team members will be there to support you.

Preparation for video recording

1. Please wear the official Speaker T-shirt when you shoot the video.

2. Please avoid new white/black clothes, subtle stripes, check shirts, and shiny metal earrings when recording the video. The image may not be appropriately seen in the video.

3. Recording Start/End Sign:

• Before and after the video starts, clap to check the beginning and end of the presentation. If you do not choose to clap, please prepare a tool or voice file to make a loud noise.
• If you do not choose to clap, please prepare a tool or voice file to make a loud noise. We use clapping or loud sounds as a film slate.
• If you feel uncomfortable with the loud sound or challenging to recognize, please let the staff know in advance; we will find other ways to do it together.
• If you use any other method other than applause, please let the staff know before shooting.

4. NG sign:

• Basic NG sign is making a large X mark with both arms. Please hold the NG sign whenever NG occurs.
• If you use any other method other than the basic sign, please let the staff know before shooting.
• When you choose on the NG sign,

1. NG can occur multiple times during a shoot. Therefore, it would be good if it is convenient to use quickly.

2. An action that looks big even on a small screen.

3. DEMO sign:

• Please hold the DEMO sign without actually demonstrating it in the DEMO demonstration. This is because DEMO images and voices may not be adequately recorded in screen recording. Composition during editing. Please send the DEMO video to [email protected] in advance.
• If you did not submit before taking a zoom recording, please follow the submission schedule guided by the staff. If not submitted, the final video may be made without a DEMO, so please take care of it :)
  • Please recognize the demo sign. When filming a video, say 'It's a demo' and change the screen to a DEMO sign document file

At the beginning of the recording

• Press the record button and clap (for slate).
• Please tell me your name and the title of the presentation, and take a break for about 5 seconds before starting the presentation.

Recording

• Please don't move too much from side to side, so that the speaker's image is fixed in the middle of the screen.

In the case of NG

• Please hold the NG sign, rest for about 5 seconds, and proceed from the beginning of the NG slide, not a sentence.

When the slide is switched,

• Rest about 3 seconds between slides (=every time the slide is over). It's getting better at editing.

DEMO

• Please hold the DEMO sign without actually demonstrating it in the DEMO demonstration.

Multiple speakers in one session**

• It's better to shoot in a different space than to gather in the same area and film separately. Echo Howling can occur when filming in the same room.
• When the presenter changes, stop for 5 seconds and let me know by writing on paper that the presenter has changed. - To capture an editing point. at the end of the recording

When you're done with your final remarks, pause 3 second, please clap and say, "The presentation is over."

Submit Your Own Recorded Video

We recommend you to participate in online or offline recording with us, but if you cannot make them, please follow the given instructions. When you’re doing your own recording, please understand that we cannot support you as we do in other options, and there will be additional feedback to check the video quality. We can also ask you additional recordings when the video quality does not meet the standard.

The video you submit must be the final version that does not has NG cut and require editing. We recommended making sounds on both screens to synchronize the two screens of ‘the presenter screen’ and ‘the presentation screen.’ If audio is recorded on only one screen, both the presenter screen and the presentation screen must be simultaneously started and ended correctly (without an error of 0.01 seconds) to be able to work.

Preparation for video recording

• Any software that can record the presentation material and yourself
• Personal earphones, microphone, camera, and computer
• Anywhere that is quiet and makes you feel comfortable
• Please avoid wearing the following clothing. It can interfere with your recording
  • Any tops with bright white, black, narrow strips, checkered, or shining accessories.

Recording methods

• Video format : H264(MP4, mov) , Full HD (1920 * 1080, 30p) We need these at the beginning of the video.
• Clap once right after recording. This will be used as a slate.
• Say your name and the title of the presentation and give 5 seconds of pause and start the presentation.

Recording software

• Feel free to choose any methods you like other than suggested below)

• Windows 10 built-in recording by betanews (2019.01.14)

• Recording a PowerPoint slideshow by Microsoft

• How to record screen on Mac (screenflick and Quicktime player) by aralium

Submit a sample video

• To check the video quality beforehand, please send us a 30-second sample video. We will give you feedback on video quality based on this.

Submit a final video

• The presentation video will be in a similar format that you see on below.

• To make the editing process easier, we ask you to send us two video files; one with your presentation material, and the other with yourself.

• If you do not want to be in the video, you can send us an alternative image you want to have in the video.

Video recording checklist

Tips for good video quality

Screen composition

1. It is good if the webcam is facing the front and is in a high position between the nose and the brow.

2. Make sure the lighting is not too dim or backlit. Make sure there is no difference between +-2 stops from the appropriate exposure value. (Meaning not to be too dark or too bright) If it is too dark or too bright, color correction is difficult when editing video.

Voice

1. Please do not record in places with external noise such as cafes.
2. Turn off the voice recognition speakers around you. You can respond to screen recording—Siri, Bixby, OK Google, etc.

If you hear a hissing sound (crackling sound),

• This is a sound that cannot be corrected by editing. Please record after removing the cause.
• It is often the sound produced by rubbing a wireless microphone on clothes. Please move the microphone away from your body.

If you hear a loud popping sound,

• This is a sound that cannot be corrected by editing. Please record after removing the cause.
• Please keep the volume of your voice constant.
• Please keep the distance from the microphone.

  • You may hear a loud mouse click. When flipping slides, use the keyboard arrows, wireless mouse, and trackpad.
  • Please refrain from using a mechanical keyboard.

DEMO- Presentation content

• When playing audio, connect wired/wireless earphones to your computer and play them.
• If possible, if there is audio or video data playback, please check whether the playback works well in the recorded copy.

Video Recording Q&A

Q. Do I have to show my face on the video? A. We recommend you record yourself to make the participants feel like they’re at the conference, but if you prefer not to show your face, it’s possible to replace it with other images. Please submit the substitute image with the video. PyCon Korea’s logo will replace it if you do not send the image.

Q. What is the presentation script used for? A. We put subtitles in the video to experience sessions regardless of hearing. The presentation script is essential for video subtitles. The technical term refers to the presentation script to create subtitles. Please send the presentation script with the final video, and if you are filming Zoom, please send the script on the day of shooting. However, subtitles and follow-up work are not possible if it is later than the schedule. Please keep the submission date.

Q. Do I have to make a subtitle for the video? A. Once you submit the recorded video on the given schedule, the after-work will be on PyCon Korea Organizing Team. However, we may not conduct subtitles or additional editing if we do not get the video on time. Please follow the schedule.

Q. Do I get support for recording equipment? A. We can only provide you with a camera when you choose ‘Online recording via Zoom’ or ‘Submit Your Own Video.’
