qBittorrent & operating system versions

qbittorrent 4.4.1
OS: WIndows 10

What is the problem?

I start qbitrorrent. The DHT count goes up to 100-300. If my network temporarily disconnects, then reconnects, the DHT count goes to 0 and stays there. All torrent downloads and uploads stop.
I can work around this by restarting qbittorrent. This is inconvenient because if I leave qbittorrent unattended, it can stop downloading/uploading until I look at it, and restart it.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Start qbitrorrent
  2. Wait a few minutes.
  3. Disconnect network
  4. Wait a few minutes
  5. Reconnect network
  6. qbittorrent stops downloads and uploads
  7. Restart qbittorrent and it works.
