qBittorrent & operating system versions

qBittorrent: 5.0.3, tested also on 4.6.6-1
OS: arch
qt: 5.212
libtorrent: i'm not sure?

What is the problem?

Image

When starting qbittorrent, or even qbittorrent-nox, the program pins one core at 100% for ever, and the webui is completely unresponsive.

The problem appeared randomly on 5.0.3, but I've tried switching to 4.6.6-1 and the problem still stands.

The logs don't show nothing out of the ordinary:
(N) 2025-01-17T11:06:26 - Restored torrent. Torrent: "bôa - Get There (2005) [FLAC]"
(N) 2025-01-17T11:06:26 - Using built-in WebUI.
(N) 2025-01-17T11:06:26 - WebUI translation for selected locale (en) has been successfully loaded.
(N) 2025-01-17T11:06:26 - WebUI: Now listening on IP: 192.168.1.4, port: 65000

I can't recall any correlation between my utilisation and why it begun working that way.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open qbittorrent
  2. Cpu at 100%
