In 5.0.0, when I delete a torrent from the WebUI and check delete content, the content is not deleted

Hello:

I am using the version 5.0.0 of qBittorrent and when I want to delete a torrent and the content from the WebUI and check the option to delete the content, the content is not deleted.

In the version 4.x.x it works as expected.

What is the problem?

The problem is that the content is not delete when I check the option in the dialog opend from the web UI.

Steps to reproduce

1.- Open qBittorrent
2.- Download a torrent
3.- Wait the torrent is completed
4.- Open Web UI
5.- Delete the torrent from the Web UI, checking the option to delete the content
6.- The content is not deleted

Currently v5.0.3 is the latest stable version.

The content is not deleted.

Most likely a duplicate of many v5.0.0 related issue reports mentioned here:

• Failed to remove torrent content error in 5.0.0rc1 #21245

Moving files to trash/recycle bin is disabled by default in v5.0.1, because it doesn't always work as expected and change of default was mentioned in news page.

If you don't want to update your qBittorrent or not interested to use latest default settings, then as a workaround open qBit > Tools > Options > Advanced and change Torrent content removal to delete files permanently.
