I'm trying to get a Windows XP VM up and running in quickemu. I have the ISO, but during installation I get the following error. I am using the legacy bios setting.
Pressing F7 during setup does not seem to change anything. Is there some option I need to set (or pass to qemu) to allow this to work? PS: Yes, I know, but I need it for some old software that won't run in Win10 or wine and it doesn't require network access. |

For anyone else wondering, I did figure out that setting guest_os to reactos seems to work for Windows XP. Closing this discussion. |
