Setup

  • Rancher version: v2.10.2
  • Rancher UI Extensions: Range of prime based extensions

Describe the bug

  • After logging in using LDAP extensions are not loaded
  • In logged in though, on refresh, they are

To Reproduce

  • Setup an LDAP auth provider
  • Install element or observability extensions
  • Log out
  • Log in again

Result

  • extensions have not loaded, no side nav icon for extension

Expected Result

  • extensions have loaded, side nav icon for extension is showing

@rancher/docs as a heads up, we'll need a release note here for 2.10.3, 2.9.7 & the most recent 2.8.x. The workaround when running into this is to refresh the page once the user has logged in.

Note - We haven't had time to reproduce this in 2.9 or 2.8 yet

Repro'd in 2.10.2

Fixed in 2.11
Upon login, extensions have loaded and side nav icon for extension is showing.

  • Dashboard master 28b6f80

Tested using OpenLDAP setup from RANQA+OpenLDAP
