Although Topolys handles all geometry/topology, TBD will currently only process linear and point thermal bridges affecting outdoor-facing walls, roofs and exposed floors (or facing unconditioned space). Partitions separating spaces/zones with design (i.e. for sizing) and operating temperatures that differ by e.g. more than 10°C should be insulated (a common code requirement), and most likely should include minor and major thermal bridging, just as with outside-facing surfaces. Common examples include walls separating a refrigerated warehouse spaces from adjacent offices or sales areas. The JSON import file could be used to add an option (w/o interior).
