Download files from official exported datas

I have official zip data exported from my slack workspace, but it only has links to files/canvases.

Can I use slackdump to download such files from the zip and replaces the links to the local ones (like ones exported by this tool with -download)?

Hey, @lemoncmd , seemed an easy fix, so I implemented a "tools hydrate" command that can do what you want.

You would need to build it from master branch, or wait till the next release.

You can run it like this:

slackdump tools hydrate you_export.zip

And it will fetch all attachments, and then create another archive your_export-hydrated.zip which will contain all the files.

Hydrate tool

Hydrate command operates on a native Slack Export archive and downloads all files
from messages and posts into a __uploads directory in the archive.

It creates a copy of the original archive and adds file to it, so you will need
at least as much free space as the original archive occupies + the size of all files
to be downloaded. It also uses a temporary directory to store the files before
repacking the archive.

If the old file was named "my_export.zip", the new file will be named
"my_export-hydrated.zip". Optionally you can specify the name of the output file
with the -o flag.

Please note: this command is only compatible with native Slack Exports that
have an active export token which is valid and not expired or revoked.

Also, canvases are not yet supported.
