Running into a problem with bevy_xpbd where trimesh colliders for the scene meshes cause my player entity to fly upon collision, even if collision system is off. Convex decomposition works perfectly fine though. See thread on https://discord.com/channels/691052431525675048/1124043933886976171/1141995904396697620

Another odd issue encountered, if I set all my terrain meshes as RigidBody::Static here, sometimes it changes my axes to no longer have +Z up, but +Y up

With RigidBody::Static

Without any RigidBody component

May be related to this problem I asked in the bevy_xpbd channel:

another thing I noticed, my world has +Z as up, but the normals I get from collision contacts always have +Y as up, so I end up having to swap y and z when I apply the normals for collisions:

contact 29v0, 32v3, Contacts { entity1: 29v0, entity2: 32v3, manifolds: [ContactManifold { entity1: 29v0, entity2: 32v3, contacts: [ContactData { point1: Vec3(-31.392353, -21.954603, 106.28908), point2: Vec3(-9.536743e-6, -15.103798, -6.4740467), normal: Vec3(0.0, 1.0, 0.0), penetration: 8.585646, convex: false }], normal: Vec3(0.0, 1.0, 0.0) }], during_current_frame: true, during_current_substep: true }

the normal here is 1.0 for y, but my player entity is always above the other meshes
