Updated statamic but still shows that it's not updated. #11385

Hello, I have a local installation of Statamic on Ubuntu Server 24.04 using Vagrant and I updated my installation using the command prompt 'composer update statamic/cms' and while everything is updated, my site still shows that my site hasn't been updated. Is there an additional item that's left off? |

That's strange - it should have existed in the files it downloaded. You can add it manually. Anyways, updating via composer should have worked. Where are you seeing that Statamic hasn't been updated, in the Control Panel somewhere? |

You have to be at the root of your project for the "please" command to work with that construction. I've been inside a subfolder or outside of my project altogether and received the "could not open" error. |

ahh, now it's fixed. Going into the root director updated it. Thanks for the help. Side note: is there a way to update Statamic from the control panel instead of updating through the command line? |

There used to be, but it was pretty unreliable. It's easier to just update from the command line instead. |
