[Bug]: Freezing on Android Home & Profile screen

Describe the bug

Some Android users reported a bug where the whole app becomes frozen either on startup or after editing profile. After that you can't click or navigate anymore and the app has to be restarted.

So far we haven't been able to reproduce this issue but the assumption is that it is related to either slashtags or lightning blocking the UI. Could be device/OS specific or network related.

Not sure if it is reproducible for affected users all the time either. In one case a reinstall of the app seems to have resolved the issue.

Reproduce

1. Start app
2. Notice app freezing

or

1. Go to Profile -> Edit
2. Try to change the name
3. Save profile (?)
4. Notice app freezing
