New Analytics API's Don't seem to work #65
Comments
Out of fairness to the author of the package I wanted to comment the resolution. Turns out that if there is NO DATA coming from the analytics API, the tables won't load and will give you the above error in the screenshot. To fix this, make sure you've set up the Tracking Code snippet correctly and generate some data for the Analytics API to return. Please bear in mind that the API may not return real-time results as there does appear to be some latency between live hits and the reporting on the dashboard. However, it does an incredible job so many thanks to the author for a great package and apologies for the premature concerns. Hopefully this helps to resolve issue #46 |
Great package! However I'm having some real trouble configuring it.
I've followed the steps in the readme and followed the advice in Issue 2, however I keep getting Bad Request (HTTP400) errors in the console.
I have set up the service account in Google Cloud Platform and I'm using the property ID from Google Analytics, however the dashboard won't load with the above errors in the console.
I've tried looking in Google Cloud Platform to view the API logs however there doesn't appear to be a log viewing facility for the Analytics API. It appears as though newer versions of the API (the only one apparently available when using their platforms) don't work? Is this right or am I just being daft?
