Some features are expected to require a bit of storage and structure.

The first thing that comes to mind is the featured section. Instead of using a plain text file with a questionable API, we could use instead an edge DB like SQLite or Turso. https://docs.turso.tech/introduction

Some IPFS solutions out there. e.g. https://github.com/orbitdb/orbitdb
