Error: 'E117: Unknown function: hammer#Hammer' #57

Ubuntu 14.04
gem --version => 1.8.23

made:

$ [sudo] gem install github-markup tilt
$ [sudo] gem install redcarpet

I backed up .vimrc and .vim folder and copied hammer.vim into newly created ~/.vim/plugin but when I open README.md and do :Hammer

the error: E117: Unknown function: hammer#Hammer is displayed (it might be not proper translation because I have localized ubuntu so I translated it from ukrainian)
