What happened?

Sidebar extend on hover (A zen mod)

For ease of use i usually use this mod with compact mode on zen

The issue is easily reproduced when installing the "theme"

simply a visual anomaly that mildly infuriates me,the padding margin and tabs are out of shape

just asking if its fixable or others are experiencing the same issue

Reproducible?

  • I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.

Version

1.8.2b

What platform are you seeing the problem on?

Windows

The Zen Mod available on the official Zen Browser website isn't up-to-date and hasn't the latest version with the fix from the Zen Mod creator's repository, so you'd normally have to wait for an update

But If you are, like I am, bothered by the distorted tab icons and can't wait, here's a straightforward fix:

  1. Navigate to about:support in your Zen browser. In the “Application Basics” section, open your “Profile Folder” by clicking “Open Folder”.
  2. In the opened profile directory, locate and enter the chrome/zen-themes/bd92a9a0-1c00-4187-a66e-94c389fa5a59 folder.
  3. Replace the chrome.css file with this chrome.css file.
  4. Completely restart the browser.
