User Preference Settings
Adwaitapod features several custom user preference settings that let you tweak and change adwaitapod to your taste without leaving your iPod. Here we will discuss the features, what they do and how to change them.
Location : Settings -> Theme Settings -> Status-/Scrollbar -> Status Bar
The music secondary text preference sets the second line of text on any music player. Default behaviour toggles between the Artist's Name and the Album Title, however here you can set it to display just one of either, or both. This setting effects the Music Player, the homescreen miniplayer and the Lockscreen.
Location : Settings -> Theme Settings -> Status-/Scrollbar -> Volume Display
The Album Art Settings changes the shape of Album Art on any music player. The default behaviour is rounded, however this can be turned off to show the full, square album art. This setting effects the homescreen miniplayer, Radio Player and Music Player.
Location : Settings -> Theme Settings -> Status-/Scrollbar -> Battery Display
The While Playing Screen Settings sets whether a Lockscreen will be show if the iPod's hold switch is on in the Music or Radio player.
Notice: This feature will be removed in a future update and will be replaced with a setting to display battery percentage in the status bar. Showing the Lockscreen on hold will be the default behaviour after this.
Location : Settings -> General Settings -> Display -> LCD Settings -> Backlight on Hold
The Lockscreen Style settings lets you choose between a classic Lockscreen with a wallpaper, and a new Always on Display that improves visibility in harsh light. It is recommended to change your 'Sleep (After Backlight Off)' settings for the Always on Display.

If your preferences differ from the defaults, you may want to may them permanent so they persist when changing themes and re-loading adwaitapod. This can be done within the .cfg file for the specific version you use, found in .rockbox -> themes -> adwaitapod_[version name].cfg . The config file is well documented and clear with what changes you can make.
If you installed your adwaitapod version via Rockbox utility or the themes website, smooth scrolling will not be enabled by default. You can turn on the Smooth Scrolling for adwaitapod in the config file.
