First release

This is the very first release for the SPIN. We are kindly asking you to help us with your issues and pull requests. We have only one rule, try to keep it simple for broad-spectrum users.

Thank you for trying and helping to SPIN to make it better.

September 2022

  • First SPIN version (BETA) contains complete functionality for SIESTA preprocesing.
  • Simple viewer.
  • Load input structure files of multiple formats (All open babel formats are available).
  • Make structure manually, make predefined structures and load already created structures (jobs).
  • Run one or multiple calculations locally.
