Changes: • Caching elements: Where possible, I’ve cached repeated references to elements to avoid redundant lookups, which can improve performance. • const and let usage: Used const for variables that won’t change and let for variables that might. • Commenting and formatting: Improved comments and formatting to make the code more readable. • Ensured minimal jQuery lookups: Where appropriate, DOM elements are stored in variables and reused.
