It may be not best way to handle Ctrl-C and Ctrl-Z as signals, may be raw mode configuration could be different?

Ctrl-C is a fairly standard binding to cancel a line entry, although I suppose it could be made configurable.

This doesn't handle Ctrl-C properly, however
