hello,Are the unique outflows in each group on the covid figure derived from qval and logFC filtering? If this criterion changes, it seems that there will also be changes to the outflows.

Hi wangtanzhang612,

Yes, the unique outflows are determined based on the calculated qvals and logFCs by the differential expression test. You're quite right, if you change the criterion, you'd infer different groups of outflows. That comes down to the subjectivity of interpreting differential expression results. However, we checked these by plotting the distributions of these identified outflows in Fig. 5c and Supp Fig. S10d. I recommend doing something similar prior to running FlowSig!
