  • When checking for updates, errors due to GitHub's rate limiting are now handled automatically.
  • If an update checking error and another error are displayed at the same time, the “copy debug info” button for the update error no longer incorrectly copies the debug info for the other error.
  • Adjustments have been made to the vertical alignment of text.
  • When using version 8.2.36 of the randomizer or newer, the restream auto-tracker integration now detects a player checking their dungeon info menu in a corner case that was previously missed.

  • When asking the user to enable logging, the link now points directly to the instructions for the user's OS rather than the disambiguation page (which is kept mainly to avoid link rot).
  • The installer now detects if the user attempts to install multiworld for an old version of Project64 that does not work with multiworld (i.e. older than version 2.4) and gives suggestions of what to do instead (install latest Project64 or use a different frontend).

  • The code library for the user interface has been upgraded. You may notice slight changes to the interface as a result, such as smaller radio buttons. Thanks to @jeremieb24 for leading the effort on this upgrade!
  • The app now includes a User-Agent header when connecting to the server. To help with debugging, developers of third-party clients should include a different User-Agent header, though connections with no User-Agent will continue to be allowed for now.

When the app is waiting for Project64, it now displays a button to open Project64, assuming the Project64 script path is configured correctly (which is done automatically by sufficiently recent versions of the installer). Thanks to @jeremieb24 for implementing this!
