How Legend Superpowers Work
If you have enabled a category legend then you can optionally enable legend superpowers. Normally, clicking on a category in the legend will take the visitor to the corresponding category page. With legend superpowers it keeps the visitor on the same page but partially fades out all other events except for those belonging to the selected category.
Legend Superpowers only works in the Month view at this time.
The effect can be reversed by clicking on the same category label a second time, or by clicking on a different category - in which case it will become the focus. Here is a screenshot showing the focus effect (with events belonging to the Kid's Stuff category remaining bright and other events dimmed by comparison):
