Sorry I am going to say no to this.

Sorry async is very hard to make thread safe, therefore I can't commit to making ws thread safe as it depends on async.

Please use https://github.com/guzba/mummy or https://github.com/guzba/whisky which is non-async but thread based solution for websockets.
