FACS01-01 edited this page Apr 22, 2024 · 4 revisions

Helps you group and replace multiple Shaders on multiple Materials at once.

How to use

  1. Open its window from the menu FACS Utils/Shader+Material/Easy Shader Reassign.
  2. Put the folder containing your Materials in the object selector.
    • If you are repairing a ripped project, select the ripped "Material" folder.
  3. Look for the Shader you want to replace, and select a new one with its dropdown menu. You can prepare multiple Shaders to reassign at once.
  4. When ready, press the Apply Shaders! button.

Extra tips and notes

  • On the Shader list, Shaders with their name in orange means they are working, and Shaders with their name in cyan means they are broken or missing.
  • You have the option to enable or disable Register Undo. You can Undo the reassign if enabled, but the more reassigned Materials, the longer it will take to process them.
  • To assign one new Shader to multiple Shaders, use the Group Shaders text field.
  • If you don't want to reassign a Material from its Shader, uncheck its checkbox.
  • You can click a Material to select and highlight it in the Project folders.
